We visited the site of the Little Big Horn battle where General Custer made his last stand. The battle field has been kept in fairly good condition and there are markers showing where the soldiers were found. A great example of keeping history intact.

We spent 2 nights at the Badlands Boondocks site, and it is definitely one of the nicest spots I have camped at. There are lots of spots to pick from, the road into it is well maintained, and the views are magnificent.
